Hello All,
I wondered if someone might be able to recommend a company that could carry out a repair to a crankcase.
The area is around one of the gearbox bushes. The semi-circular cut out for the bush and flange areas either side need a thin layer of weld applied then to be be machined back to original form/dimensions.
I can get the TIG welding done but its the machining that I'm not sure about.
Thanks in advance - Sean

Re: Crankcase repair
If it helps, John Browse has crankcase sets for around £450.
I also have a good friend who has a complete bottom end for a 73 Z1.

Try Patrick at Seager Engineering.

Excellent work on the type of repairs you are after and not too far away from you. Have a look at his FB page - he is always posting pictures of his work. He did the head on my J and it was very good.
