GPz1100B2 Fork damper tool.

#1 PostAuthor: BAFF1960 » Sun Feb 12, 2023 10:49 am

Hi.

After recommissioning after a decade lay up and some use late last year my B2 has blown a fork seal. Have original new item[s]to install but need the info on the damper rod removal tool. I can make one easily but need the dimensions for it. Can anyone supply me with the info?

Regards Alan

22 and a bit inches in length.

21 and a bit mm across flats.

If you have NOS but older seals you might do well to replace with the more recent version since the originals were superseeded and i believe better designed subsequently!!

Hi.
Thanks for the info. I have new [ expensive ] genuine Kawasaki seals. Wouldn't use NOS seals from experience as they don't age well when not stored correctly.
Alan.
