Ok bike arrived today, some of the fins have been broken off the cylinder head, can you get these repaired, or is it a new cylinder head?

Can be repaired, there are a few places that do it. Just do a search on here.

I wouldnt worry too much about the fins just yet Dave they are only aesthetic at the moment, there are plenty of other jobs that will suck your money right now. Head will have to come off and if the breaks are old then there is oil in the aluminum, vapor blast, grind back, make new pieces, weld and finish. its a bit of work but suited when you are rebuilding the engine.
