Has anyone done a rebuild on factory shocks, any tips will be appreciated. Im presuming they are the same as others, drill out the pin at the top and unscrew? Can petrified rubber eyelets be bought?

Is there any need to secure the strut while unscrewing or compress the spring?

From memory I seem to remember having to compress the spring and clamp the rod to unscrew the top after nocking out the pin but it Was nearly twenty years ago

Ill have to dig out the spring compressor so but all good, have Koni too but im close everything factory now on this bike so ill do my best restoring them, keep you posted.
