As in this wee guy in here, the brass seat in witch the needle slides into, this s a Z1b 28mm body here but it is the same on the 26mm, im worried that boring will remove the function of the brass piece, can it be punched out and be replaced after the fact. I have 3 sets of vm26 that id like rebuild/bore, im in no real hurry but id like to do them right.

That is the needle jet.
It simply presses/taps out, down in the direction of the float chamber once the main jet and needle jet tube ( emulsion tube) have been removed.

Perfect, i didnt want to go doing anything till i was a 100% on not screwing anything up, now the big ask, the jig you made to hold the body, ever think of making one to sell?
