I'd been having a lot of rear brake issues with my 1977 Kawasaki Z1000 Pro-Stock Dragbike over the last couple of years and had lost confidence riding it as the rear brake would drag, or lock up, with no real warning. Having eventually found that a blocked 0.35mm compensation port in the rear brake master cylinder was the culprit, it was time to get her back on the road and get some miles on the clock. It's great fun to ride, always gets attention, and certainly puts a smile on my face.
On Sunday, I rode her to the Moto-Union, classic Japanese and Italian event at the Ardingly Showground in Sussex. It's a relatively new event and the quality of bikes on display was superb. It was lovely to come away with a trophy as the bike won `Best Modified`

If it's too loud....too bad.
