seat prop

#1 PostAuthor: krbdude » Tue Jun 14, 2022 5:37 pm

Evening all , as i understand it they did away with the seat prop on the Z1000a1 and went back to using it on the a2.
Did they fit an extra rubber because mine's got nowt, it rests on the side pannel when opened . Where did the extra rubber go/fit ? Can anyone put up a picture or parts diagram ? Cheers for any help .
Regards Keith

Hi Keith

the seat hinge of an A1 had an extra piece of sheet metal welded on which acted as some sort of stopper to prevent the seat resting on the side cover.
In the parts list the seat hinges of an A1 and an A2 have different parts numbers but they're not visible on the diagram.
