Carbs
Hi, I took the float bowls off my 82 z1000 ,CV carbs and sandwiched between float bowl and body are small rubber/neoprene discs ,,no holes in em and they sit in circular casting on top body and on gasket on float bowl,,,one of them is missing, so I wondered if it was necessary,? There are no drilling’s leading to them ,,!
Should I just put it back together still minus the one,?

Re: Carbs
I had some in and some not. Never found what they were for and it ran perfectly without them. Mine (the three that were there) were flat 'O rings that had been made flat,.. not compressed that way.
