Oil pump gasket

Just stripped the oil pump on the Gpz11 for a clean and the FSM says to replace the gasket. It is in one piece and not damaged. Do I need to replace it?

Yes!! Always good engineering practice. They must only be a few £/Euros.

Thanks, I realise new is the best way but with other gaskets if correctly greased before hand can be reused. The reason I was asking is that they are 7 euros plus shipping here in France. After cleaning up the bits I've spotted a small tear so it will need one anyway now.
