Throttle stop screw

Hello All,
Could anyone please let me know what the thread in on the throttle stop screw?
I'm fairly certain that it is M5 fine - looks like M5 x 0.5mm pitch. Mine has been replated and plating thickness means that it will no longer fit into the threaded hole on the carb mounting plate.
I need to buy a die to recut thread but thought I would check - just in case...
Thanks in advance.

If you mean the single tick over screw I say it is M6 x 0.75

Thanks for the reply Gus.
It's definitely 5mm diameter so M5 but the thread looks finer than normal. I think it's M5 x 0.5 but wanted to check before buying a die - photo below -

Sorry I'm lost as to which part you are talking about.
Try

Sorry
Gus.

Count the number of threads in a 10mm length. 20 threads in a 10mm length and its 0.5mm pitch. It looks that way from the photo. I would give it a good wire brushing first as running a die down it risks it becoming small and loose. Is it the screw or the nut / plate it turns into that is in need of cleaning?

Hello Gus - I think that it's part 69 on the diagram in the link below
https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/kawas ... arburetorsIt the screw that set the limit of how far the throttle can be opened - presumably to protect slide linkages.
Thanks Al - really good point about wire brushing the thread - I should have thought of this....
I think that the tapped hole in the plate is good - I screwed a .22 phosphor bronze brush through and the thread looks like new.
