Flared Fuel Tubes

I am looking for the small fuel tube between the pump and the filter on my Gpz1100. Bit difficult to find!.
The tube is larger diameter at the fuel pump end than thee filter end. Its about 12mm to 8mm at a guess.

Its the same set up as the H.

Question does anyone know if I can get a rubber fuel tube which reduces?..I guess I cant really flare a rubber pipe!

The other option is to sleeve the fuel filter to the same diameter as the pump inlet, but not sure if this will leak.

Anyone come accross this before and solved it??

Or does anyone have an original tube they would part with.

Cheers

Rob

Rob, this came up a while back and after some suggestions i think it was decided to use two different diameter pipes with a simple 'turned' step sleeve in the middle.
This company do 90 degree bends in fuel hose. If you scroll down there is a table of available sizes of internal diameters. They may be slow bends so a bit clunky looking i cant say.

Thanks Al, its quite a short tube so a joint might be tricky.

I found a 11 - 7mm reducer pipe for a VW sirocco which may fit so i ordered it. Ideally it should be 12 - 8 I think....lets see

I saw those pipe on ebay, they are silicon pipes which i dont think you can use for Fuel!

I used two pipes and a reducer but the one I used was suitable for petrol you can even get a brass one and yes it is a tight fit. I did read there was a h*nda car that used the same but they were no longer availiable when i looked

Pipe worked a treat, just had to nip about 1/4 inch off the larger diameter end....happy days!
Think I will stock up with a few more
