Could anyone give me measurements of the collars/spacers on the 1000R swing arm as marked. I am trying to put the standard arm in mine just now to get it mobile, but the arm is empty. There was previously a Suzuki arm in it I think the parts are in it, they certainly fit, but I'd like measurements to check. Thanks in advance. Also in the diagram it shows something round the ends of the central tube 92027 I assume they're metal guard things to help keep grease in the bearings - like you get in the wheels - if anyone could get me a picture of those it would help, they're not on the collar but I think there might be one ratting about inside the 1000R arm. :D

42036 is 40mm long, 25mm external and 16.1mm internal.
The long tubular sleeve i cant help with, i no longer have one sorry.
The flimsy (see break off too easily) 'bands' are not grease retainers, they are designed to hold the sleeve centrally in the cross tube to make it possible to feed the spindle through. If they are not there, the tube falls down and is obscured by the bearing sleeves see above.
All of the above still available.
From memory; 235 between frame sides, minus 40 times two, equals 155mm! Dont blame me if its wrong :D :D
Talking of grease; its a good idea to drill and tap for a grease nipple. Those bearings and sleeves are proper expensive to be wearing them out prematurely.

Thanks Al :D
I guess that’s what the ones in the wheels are for also then couldn’t make much sense of them every day is a school day.
