I hoped to avoid lining my ELR tank, when i cleaned it with Biox I found it was weeping around the badge fixings. I looked at replacing it but it is hard to find a good tank that is not in similar condition. I soldered it and checked it again and found more weeps. This went on for 3 or 4 times, so even now it is water tight I'm not confident it will stay that way for long. I was speaking to a lad who was into those horrible Hodnas and he recommended this product. have any of you any experience with it?

If I could sort the tank one way or the other I can get the paint work done and that's me sorted. This has held me up since April.

No experience of that product but have used POR 15 a few times successfully. A 250ml tin is enough for one tank.

Pot 15, is a good product if done properly, but is a devil to get out.

Personally I think it is better to repair the tank and not use a liner. Especially as it’s being repainted,

Yes I agree but There were so many pin holes that think it will be a waste of time to get the tank sprayed unless it is lined.
I hadn't see this before and hoped it was an improvement over the other liners. It claims to be ethanol proof, but so does this:

I lined my tank in Aug 2020 with POR15, only two years but still good.

My H tank needed doing as it was like Swiss cheese and getting a replacement likely impossible

I ended up getting it done 5 years ago by a company called TCP tank care products

Not the cheapest approach maybe but fixed once and for all.

H tanks rarer than rocking horse poo

Tank care products do treatment kits, I've used them twice and had no problems. The first kit I used needed the tank and sealant jollop to be heated to something like 70 degrees C, which was a pain. The kit I used a couple of years ago had been reformulated somehow and only needed heating to 30 odd degrees (I think...) to get it to flow and was much easier to use.

It's a pain of a job but worth doing in my view if you do it properly.
