Evening All,

Could I ask if anyone has used one of the pattern gasket sets that Z-Power are currently selling?

Just wondered what they were like or if there are any problems with them?

Cheers.

They don't leak but they don't fit particularly well either. Make sure you have a sharp blade to trim the excess off once tightened down.

Hi

https://www.z-power.co.uk/search/produc ... set+bottom

I fitted this set recently so far so good bolt holes line up, but they do need triming afterwards. My only issue was the bloody packaging some of them came in (like plastic meat wrapper) kept trying to rip the gaskets as i was opening it.

Last pattern set I bought from Z-Power was junk.
Badly sized and very thin material. Spend more and buy OEM or Athena.

I have always sought out Vesrah sets from Japan, bit difficult to find in the u.k. but they are here, top quality in my opinion, even special camchain tunnel o ring is good. I am told they manufacture for the bike manufacturers in Japan and they even used to supply Kawasaki with front pads. IMD pistons do top end sets, bought my last full set from cybike which sadly has ceased trading. Word of caution, valve stem seals are included as a separate little pack in the packaging, they are crap. Didn't used to be the case, a top end set I have had for some years for the z650 has good seals. Buzzard has advised get the blue viton ones from Suzuki performance spares, which I did. Top end which includes base gasket, cylinder base o rings etc about £60, not too bad. Used Athena in the past on two strokes, not great.
