Engine bolts

I'm just at the point where I can start to reassemble the engine for my Z900 A4. However I'm not sure what to do about the crankcase bolts. Should I get get the originals (assuming they are still serviceable) replated or should I buy a new set? The bolt sets I've found for sale are not the same as the originals and cap heads are definitely out.
I'm not sure if I'm being too fussy but would very much appreciate any guidance from other members please.

Have you had all the cases, barrels and head etc blasted/treated back to 'new look' condition? If so, get all the bolts etc re-zinced
Zinc plate is relatively cheap.

Re-plating is the answer and very cost effective.

Re-zinc plated every time for me! It’s the way forward!

That's what I do with all the original bolts, nuts and other metal parts! If you want to buy them new, you loose a fortune! And don't forget there are bolts which are no longer available.

Thank you all very much for the replies. That's a very clear consensus - new zinc plating it is...

i always clean them before plating especially the heads of the bolts. clamp them in a vice & use the scotch-brite flap wheel on the heads
