Z1000 built in Nebraska

I have just bought 3 Z1000's and they are currently in a container on their way to me.
Reading many different forums it appears the ones built in Nebraska have chassis numbers starting with 5.
All I have bought start with 5 and there are 2 Z1000A's and 1 Z1000B.
However, they are all dressed as Z1000B's, down to the cast wheels and step seat ect.

2 are most definitely A model frames from the number, label and rear footrest hangers.

Having looked at dozens of bikes on the internet I am thinking that at the Nebraska factory they built a lot of their bikes up as the B LTD model no matter which frames they had.
Apart from the rear footrest hanger the frame is the same and I assume the demand for LTD model was very high.

Has anyone else put any thought into this or have any information to confirm or refute my thoughts?
