Dyna Ignition loss of spark

Hi Guy’s, looking for info on how to check a Dyna ignition system that's fitted to my 1976 KZ900 with 16,500 miles.
I don’t know age of Dyna unit, as it was already fitted to bike when I bought it, but it’s got Dyna 000 Electronic Ignition written on it.
Problem started when bike was not running on No.3, but was sparking, so I assumed a fuel blockage. Carbs removed, cleaned & refitted.
Also checked compression & valve clearances to eliminate any mechanical issues.
Coils probably original & on re-checking No.3 lead looked to have weak area, so I fitted new Emgo coils & NGK plug caps.
I had already fitted new spark plugs about 50 miles prior to this issue.
Started bike but No.4 was the one not running now ????????
Swapped plugs around & found one of the new NGK plugs had failed. Aarrgghhh!!
Old set of plugs fitted & bike now running on all 4 pots so carbs set & balanced.
Problem I now have is that after running perfectly for about 15 miles bike just cut out & there’s no spark on any cylinder.
I’ve got 12.7v at battery (which is new), 12.7v at coils (switched live), good earths, kill switch & ignition working OK & nothing else that appears to be an issue.
All wiring checks out OK & as far as I can tell the Alternator stator, Rectifier & Regulator (which are original) are all OK.
Only thing I’ve noticed is that I only get 11.3v out of ignition module, but with no info I don’t know if this is OK or not.
I was just going to buy a whole new ignition set up & swap out the Reg/Rec for uprated unit, but thought I would see if anyone has any advice before
I bite the bullet & spend the cash.
