Anyone have an easy way to get the speedo needle off?
Feels like it will break if I apply any more force

lever it off with 2 spoons, one on each side. ping!!

try to put a drop of penetrating oil on the axle, wait a few minutes, use two spoons under the needle and rest them on the two little screws to get the needle off.
Good luck and before I forget: store the speedometer allways upright, don't keep them upside down.
