I searched this topic and found a few treads but they weren’t specific.
I have a unitrak that is getting a little loud around the head and has a manual chain adjuster.
What duration should it be adjusted and what is the procedure?
Thanks in advance.

Manual cam chain adjustment

Re: Manual cam chain adjustment
Back off the adjuster lock nut.
Remove the ign cover .
Use a 17mm spanner to lightly rock the crank and you will feel any slack in the camchain.
Use your fingers to screw in the adjuster whilst rocking the crank until you feel the slack is taken up.
You will need to excersise some judgement so as not to overtighten the chain but using your fingers on the adjuster bolt reduces the chance of that.
Once happy with it lock the adjuster nut without moving the tensioner bolt and job done..

Thanks, Pretty much as I imagined, but I would have used a light touch on a spanner, finger tight sounds like good advise.
