B2 low gearing.

#1 PostAuthor: BAFF1960 » Wed Sep 06, 2023 9:33 am

Hi.
Been surprised by the pick up and grunt on my B2 compared to what I can remember about my ZX11 from back in the day. If anything its seems a bit low geared and you never need to go below 4th for a fast overtake. After a bit of dual carriageway work at the weekend I've come the the conclusion i need to look at raising the the gearing. Outright performance inst my aim, just a more relaxed ride/motor running. Its running 15/40 sprockets. There doesn't seem to be 16T or 38T sprocket options about. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
