Re: Stafford 2025 call for bikes
The club stand was great , Brilliant range of bikes from one extreme to the other --- from VERY Standard to a very well put together Z1r based streetfighter and everything in between ! Dave Marsden`s restomod is a stunner and i cant remember the last time i saw a Z1000H in real life !. Very well don...

Re: Mk II
Yes that wheel does match pretty well !. Funny you should mention a Z1r , About 12 months after missing the Mk2 i ignored all my mates `advice` and bought a really nice back Z1r , i got loads of stick about it ,( especially as it also had a seat recovered in white leather !!)---- but i didnt care be...

Re: Mk II
very nice !
always loved the Mk11 ,
Regret not buying one back in the day---- but was talked out of it by all my riding mates who were all a bit older and convinced me that it "real bikes" didnt have square tanks ! .
Are the wheels period 3 spoke CMA`s ?
regards
Mick

RS34s on gpz/ z1000j / ELR -- fuel tap ?
Hi Does anyone have experience of fitting RS34s on a Gpz1100 b2 ? I am thinking i may get some for my gpz project instead of refurbing my 40yr old BS34s, I just want to check for any potential snags, i know i need a push/ pull throttle but was wondering if fuel tap clearance was an issue ? I have tw...

Looks like they could be the ones ! ,
Now the question i have to ask myself is ---is which set do i use and which do i sell ??
OR
instead or refurbing a set or forty year old carbs , sell both lots and put the money towards some nice shiny new flatslides !?
Thanks

Re: pickup housing
Thanks for that useful info, I was hoping the gpz one was just a black version of the J one and could save myself a bit of polishing !. Mine is a bit damaged inside so cover is only held by one bolt,. I will look out for a gpz one but theres no rush i was just thinking I'd finally sort it out after ...

Re: Delkevic outlet size ?
This is how my pipe idea came out ,
Was very impressed with Delkevic -- came with everything needed to fit it and seems great quality,
Mated it to a V & H can that came on my Tiger 1050 sport with a link pipe and home made sleeve.
Probably not for the purists , but i like it !.

Re: Delkevic outlet size ?
Thanks a lot for all the info , including some great detailed pics.
The link pipe i am going to use is 57mm so the step of a reducer shouldn`t look too bad .
Thanks again
