Rear spring refinishing
One for the metal finishers out there….
I need to refinish my chrome rear shock springs to black. For the finish I intend to powder coat them unless advice says otherwise. Question is, would you strip the chrome off first, or trust the powder coaters to blast them?

Re: Frame painting
I’m still hitting a brick wall, don’t want to powder coat this particular frame although I’ve always done it in the past. Just wondering if a coat of smooth Hamerite would do the job?

Petrol tap die nut
I know it’s a long shot, but has anyone got a die or a die nut to clean up the petrol tap thread on the bottom of a zed fuel tank that I could borrow? By the naked eye I think it may be 22mm x 1mm
Thanks, Jerry.
Thanks, Jerry.

Z1/Z1000 race clutch springs
Brand new set of race clutch springs, not for use with the standard clutch cable set up unless you have hands like a super hero. Should work ok with a hydraulic set-up. £25.00 posted.
