Re: Frankenzed

Nice bike. I was concerned about joining a Z1 owners club with a very none standard J2, but it turned out there are a lot of heavily modified bikes here, and very nice they are too. Makes me think I should of paid more attention to mine when I was restoring it to a rideable condition. Trouble is I'm...

Possibly cracked rubbers between carbs and head. Is the throttle snapping shut all the way.

Re: My old A2

When I did the deal for my J2(which I am still riding)on 31st jan 1982 they also had a brand new Z900 that they had built from new part. I can't remember exactly how much they were asking for it but it was considerably more than the brand new J that I had just purchased.

My old A2

Just been in the attic for the Christmas decorations and found a old photo of my A2. It's probably the bike I most regret getting rid of (traded it in for £700 when I purchased my newJ2 from Knott Mill Kawasaki) At the same time Kawasaki where offering £200 off bikes over 750cc and Knott mill also k...

Re: New member

Welcome to the club, great place to find new and period parts for most old Z's. We all love to see pictures at any stage of a project.

Nice job. I have known a couple of Bandit owners and they were all trouble free bikes. Nice bike.

Last ride out 2025

Nice weather today in the northwest so took advantage for probably the last outing of 2025 on the J. I usually use the GSXR1100G or KTM 525 in the winter. Called at J+S for a brew and bacon sandwich. Surprised how many bikes were out.

Thanks to you both. I couldn't find that box all day and just noticed the 2 small blue arrows and pressed one and it just appeared. Many thanks.

Re: Stafford 2025 call for bikes

I joined the club at the show and have always payed my subs there, I have tried searching the site but can't find how to pay them. H...

Re: Mk II

That's a very nice mk11, colour is great but I particularly like the beefy looking back end with the swing arm and brake hanger plate.
